The Pridham Report is a longstanding and reliable barometer of industry trends. This list of the top fund groups by gross and net retail fund sales is generally dominated, unsurprisingly, by the biggest players in the UK marketplace, although recently the balance of power had begun to shift.

Here is a snapshot of the past three years: Q1 2012 saw M&G, SLI, Threadneedle, BNY Mellon and BlackRock topping the net retail sales chart. In Q1 2013, SLI was the leader, while BNY Mellon, Cazenove, and BlackRock completed the top four. In Q1 2014, OMGI was top of the list, with SLI second, while Henderson, Schroders, Artemis, and Barings also featured. Recently, the established names have been giving away some ground.
