Woodford leads push for management shake-up at struggling Kier - report

Looking to replace CEO and finance director

Woodford Investment Management is a key voice among a group of investors trying to oust the chief executive of construction firm Kier Group, according to reports.

Sky News reports that Woodford IM, which holds a 16% stake in the company, wants to see chief executive Haydn Mursell or finance director Bev Dew, or both, replaced in the coming months. According to the news service, Woodford is being supported by other key shareholders in the group, who are expected to intensify their campaign unless the company's chairman Philip Cox makes imminent moves to find successors.
