BMO GAM names consistent top-quartile IA funds over three years

BMO Global Asset Management has identified 14 funds in the Investment Association universe which have consistently achieved top-quartile performance over the past three years.

According to its latest Multi-Manager Survey, the number of funds delivering consistent top-quartile returns over three years fell to 1.2% in the second quarter from 1.6% in Q1. Only 14 of the 1,132 funds across the IA sectors with a sufficient track record have achieved the feat over three years to the end of June 2017. The most popular sector was IA Sterling Corporate Bond, which saw six funds achieving top-quartile returns (see table), accounting for 7.5% of the sector.
