Franklin Templeton launches global macro fund for K2 Advisors

Franklin Templeton will launch a multi-manager global macro opportunities fund later this month to be managed by its hedge fund and alternative product solutions team, K2 Advisors.

The Franklin K2 Global Macro Opportunities fund is a sub-fund of the Luxembourg-registered Franklin Templeton Investment Funds SICAV range, and will be publicly launched in Luxembourg on 25 November. Following this, the company will initiate the process of registering the fund with the FCA for UK retail and institutional investors. The fund seeks to achieve a total return over a full market cycle through capital appreciation by allocating its net assets across global macro-oriented alternative strategies.
