Fund industry pays tribute to explorer Henry Worsley

Industry commentators have paid tribute to the explorer Henry Worsley, who sadly passed away aged 55 after attempting to cross the Antarctic unaided.

The explorer (pictured), who had spoken at several industry events, was 30 miles short of completing the record Antarctic crossing when he had to be airlifted to hospital. He died of organ failure after succumbing to exhaustion and severe dehydration. When former British army officer Worsley completed the Scott-Amundsen trail in 2009, fund management firms Artemis and Liontrust sponsored the trip, which was part of a fundraising effort for Help the Heroes.
