Columbia Threadneedle's Leigh Harrison will step down as lead manager on the £106m Threadneedle UK Overseas Earnings fund, to be replaced by head of UK equity research Jeremy Smith.
Harrison (pictured) will remain involved in the running of the fund in his role as head of equities, and will also continue to manage the £911m Threadneedle UK Equity Alpha Income and other core alpha portfolios. Smith was appointed lead manager on the fund from 1 December, after joining Threadneedle in September from Liberum Capital, where he was part of the equities sales team. He was previously head of UK equities at Neptune Investment Management and director in the UK large cap team at Schroders.
