Jupiter's Hynes returns to industry as LGIM's head of UK retail

Simon Hynes is to re-join the industry as head of UK retail sales at Legal and General Investment Management, a year after he left Jupiter.

Hynes (pictured) will join LGIM in October and will be responsible for relationships with the firm's UK partners. He will report to Honor Solomon, who was hired by the firm last October to lead EMEA retail distribution. Hynes had briefly been global head of distribution at Jupiter before he left the business in July last year to take a sabbatical. In total, he spent twelve years at the firm, including several overseeing the handling of UK clients.
