Ex-Kames CEO takes over as Waverton's Grootenhuis exits

Waverton Investment Management has appointed former Kames Capital head Andrew Fleming as its new chief executive, following the departure of Hugh Grootenhuis.

Grootenhuis is leaving the firm after six years, and Fleming will take over in his new role on 1 July, subject to regulatory approval. Fleming (pictured) was chief executive of Kames Capital between 2005 and 2013 and was also chief investment officer and global head of portfolio management at ABN AMRO Asset Management.
