Seven up and coming funds to watch this year

At a time when many established portfolios are facing questions over performance, manager exits and other issues, City Financial's new fund research service has identified seven funds as ones to watch over the coming months.

The Adviser Centre, run by former Morningstar OBSR trio Peter Toogood (pictured), Gill Hutchison and Anthony McDonald, identifies funds which it recommends, funds which are established and funds which are a 'Positive Watch'. Funds qualifying for the latter list are those which are either newly launched, have recently seen a manager or mandate change, or are run by less experienced managers.
