OMGI adds to Buxton's UK equity team

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has completed the line-up of Richard Buxton's UK equity team, ahead of the manager joining the firm in June from Schroders.

OMGI has hired Robert James as a senior analyst for the team from Aviva Investors, who will report in to Buxton. James worked with Buxton and his co-manager Errol Francis earlier on his career at Baring Asset Management in 1989. He joined Insight Investment as a European Banks Analyst in 2004, before moving to Aviva Investors in 2010 as a pan European financials analyst.
