Michael Godfrey, co-manager of the M&G Global Emerging Markets and M&G Asian funds, has left to pursue other opportunities after eight years at the group.
Godfrey (pictured) joined the group in 2004 and managed the £681m GEM fund and £467m Asian fund alongside Matthew Vaight, who will now assume sole responsibility for the two portfolios. Vaight will be supported by M&G's global equity team and Colm D'Olier, who was appointed deputy manager on both portfolios this January.
