BlackRock has launched the Luxembourg-domiciled BSF Global Absolute Return Bond fund for Ian Winship.
Winship, who is head of BlackRock's sterling fundamental fixed income team, will manage the fund without referencing an index, but will target positive performance above Euribor. He will utilise BlackRock's global expertise to source best ideas across all fixed income market sectors - including global rates, emerging markets, investment grade credit and high yield. The manager, formerly at Brevan Howard, also runs BlackRock's UK Absolute Return Bond fund which was launched last September.
