Geffen's 'best of British' brands

Neptune's Robin Geffen has revealed the ‘best of British brands' he backs in his £1.3bn Income fund which are soaring due to emerging markets consumer demand.

Although the UK has recently slipped back into recession and its banks are the subject of regulatory investigations due to rate fixing, Geffen, fund manager, CIO and founder of Neptune, said there are opportunities for investors looking to achieve a growing income in the UK market. "These days it is easy to pick up a newspaper and get a very gloomy view of what is going on out there in the UK," said Geffen (pictured) in a video message to clients.
