Aberdeen rebrands alternative investment arm

Aberdeen Asset Management has renamed its £24bn alternative investment offering, which includes its multi-manager range, to better reflect strategies within the business.

The division, renamed as Aberdeen Solutions, covers funds run by Graham Duce and Aidan Kearney, as well as the group's pooled funds and segregated mandates. The change will also encompass the group's multi-asset passive funds, fund of hedge funds, fund of private equity funds, and pan-alternatives strategies. Aberdeen says the new name emphasises the group's capability in combining its investment tools to meet investor needs.
