Allianz RCM's global emerging markets team is moving to an overweight position in Chinese property, believing the sector is poised for a rebound.

Senior portfolio manager Guido Stiel says investors are wrong to think China is overheating. "Personally, I think people are not right to be concerned about China. The Chinese Government has been successful in running the economy for the past two years and I do not see any reason to think it will not be a success over the next two to three," he says. "For the time being we are more positive on China and, believe it or not, we are especially positive on the property sector.
