Geffen's Global Equity fund reaches £1bn

Robin Geffen's Neptune Global Equity fund has become the boutique's second vehicle to surpass £1bn under management.

The fund, which was launched in December 2001, has achieved top decile performance in its peer group since launch, generating a return of 175%. It joins Rob Burnett's Neptune European Opportunities fund as the two largest vehicles in the Neptune range. Meanwhile, Geffen's Neptune Balanced fund and the Neptune US Opportunities vehicle, run by Felix Wintle, both passed the £500m landmark in Q1.
