FundsNetwork has added a Bare Loan trust and Discretionary Loan trust to its multi-asset trust range. The products will sit alongside the platform’s Bare Gift, Discretionary Gift and Discretionary Will trusts. David Dalton-Brown, head of FundsNetwork, said the new loan trusts allow clients to freeze the value of the assets held in the trust for IHT purposes with any future growth being classed as outside their estate. Clients can retain access to their capital in that the loan can be repaid at any time.
