None of the IMA sectors managed to produce a positive return in September, according to stats from Fidelity FundsNetwork. Money Market funds were the only vehicles that had flat returns whereas everything else was negative. However this did not deter investors from placing their cash elsewhere and UK equities were favoured on both FundsNetwork last month and on Skandia’s platform Selestia Investment Solutions in Q3. UK Equity Income was the top-selling sector on the former, followed by UK All Companies The sector most favoured on Selestia was the UK Equity.
