Guinness Asset Management is bringing its Alternative Energy fund to the market with no initial charge until 2 May. The Dublin-domiciled fund is an onshore mirror of the group’s vehicle, which is only available to US investors. It invests in companies that have at least 50% of their business in the manufacturing or development of energy generation from non-fossil fuels or those that improve the use of energy efficiency.
