The IMA has released its latest stats showing an across-the-board assets under management slump compared to last quarter. Total investment funds under management fell 7.5% in the first quarter of 2008 to £432.7bn at the end of March. Fund of funds lost £1.6bn across the quarter ending at £32.6bn, although this was 8% more than the same point in 2007 mainly thanks to robust balanced fund sales. Tracker funds saw a 10% assets under management dip to £24.5bn over the quarter, although retail sales amounted to a modest net inflow. And ethical vehicles were £5.4bn at the end of the quarte...
