Jupiter Asset Management's global head of distribution Nick Ring talks about international expansion, upcoming product launches, reviewing the firm's fund range, and opportunities on the back of pensions freedoms.

Just over a year after arriving at Jupiter from Columbia Threadneedle, Nick Ring has already begun to diversify the firm's product offering and help grow its presence in Europe in an effort to widen its reach beyond the UK. Ring joined Jupiter in September 2015 as global head of distribution, with 27 years of industry experience under his belt. He was attracted to the business by its active, benchmark agnostic investment approach, calling Jupiter a "pure play asset manager where the fund managers are allowed a lot of discretion".
