UK company share price moves post-Brexit are 'overdone'

The implications of the surprise leave result in the EU referendum continues to reverberate around the markets. The leave campaign's assertion that there will be no economic disruption from a Brexit is being tested.

It is important to note, however, the referendum was advisory only. A political solution now has to be found. What leverage the UK has to influence the terms of its departure from the European Union diminish significantly following the invocation of Article 50.  It is, therefore, imperative that this is not triggered before informal discussions have established a framework for a post-EU deal.
