Regulations forcing companies to improve energy efficiency have created a growing customer base for companies selling products that help save energy. Tim Dieppe, partner and fund manager at sustainability specialists WHEB Group explains why he has bought shares in energy efficiency companies.

What I particularly like about energy efficiency companies is their sales proposition of saving money for their customers. Even the thriftiest of CFOs find it hard to resist such a proposition, particularly when the payback periods are short.
