Update: Santander's global CIO Mazoy takes on Caddick's role

Manager leaves after eight years with firm

Santander Asset Management's global CIO Jose Mazoy will take on responsibility as UK CIO after Tom Caddick left the firm last year, Investment Week understands.

Mazoy joined Santander AM as global CIO in April 2019 from Swiss bank UBS and is based in London. He will take on Caddick's overall departmental responsibility for the firm's global multi-asset solutions (GMAS) team. Mazoy spent three years at UBS, where he was global head of dynamic strategies, before heading to Santander. He had previously been with Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
