SLA appoints Noel Butwell as CEO of savings business

Standard Life Aberdeen (SLA) has appointed Noel Butwell as chief executive officer (CEO) of Standard Life Savings.

Butwell will take charge of SLA's platforms, advice and savings businesses and report directly to SLA's vice chairman, Martin Gilbert. Butwell has been with SLA for more than 16 years and was last year appointed head of UK distribution, a role which he will continue in.
