Columbia Threadneedle promotes former analysts to portfolio management roles

Columbia Threadneedle has promoted former analysts Mine Tezgul and Scott Woods to portfolio management roles on its Europe ex-UK Small Cap portfolios and Global Smaller Companies fund respectively.

The changes follow the recent departure of European and Global Small Cap Equities portfolio manager Mark Heslop, who is set to join Jupiter Asset Management in September after 11 years with the firm. Unigestion poaches distribution specialist from Columbia Threadneedle Deputy global CIO and CIO, EMEA at Columbia Threadneedle Mark Burgess said the promotions reflect how the firm "emphasise[s] succession planning" as the group seeks to "develop and progress our talent following changes in the team".
