Fidelity International has appointed Andrew McCaffery as global chief investment officer (CIO) of alternatives and solutions.

In this newly created role, McCaffery will lead the development of Fidelity International's alternatives and solutions franchises, which will include the existing multi asset, investment solutions design and real estate teams. He will also drive the development of new capabilities in these areas for the business.
