Brooks Macdonald names CEO for International business to replace outgoing Zaman

Brooks Macdonald is appointing Andrew Shepherd as the CEO of its International business based in the Channel Islands, as Darren Zaman is set to leave the firm after five years in the role.

Zaman joined the firm in 2014 as part of the acquisition of DPZ Capital, which he founded in 2007 and which was absorbed by Brooks Macdonald International. Shepherd will become CEO of the International business from 1 April and will be based in Jersey full time. He has been at the firm for 17 years and will also chair the boards of the two legal entities within International.  As a result of the new commitments, Shepherd will step down as a member of the group board from 1 April.
