BMO promotes Howe to lead investment trust sales

BMO Global Asset Management has promoted Alex Howe to head of investment trust sales as the firm explores opportunities to expand its ten-vehicle range.

Reporting to head of UK intermediary distribution Rob Thorpe, Howe will be charged with ensuring the firm's trust range remains "well represented" and receives "maximum support across the UK market", the firm said. F&C Investment Trust chairman Fraser to retire in 2019 Howe joined BMO's wholesale distribution team from Schroders in 2005 and has since been responsible for promoting the firm's mutual funds and investment trusts, as well as developing relationships with the broker market.
