
Michelle Scrimgeour, chief executive of Columbia Threadneedle Investments
The Investment Association (IA) has appointed four directors to its board, including Brooks Macdonald CEO Caroline Connellan and Columbia Threadneedle Investments CEO, EMEA, Michelle Scrimgeour.
In a move which doubles the female representation on the board from 20% to 40%, it has also appointed Newton Investment Management CEO Hanneke Smits as well as Dan Watkins, COO, EMEA at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. They will replace four retiring board members; Quilter CEO Paul Feeney, Janus Henderson CEO Andrew Formica, Legal & General Investment Management CEO Mark Zinkula and Andrew Laing, joint-head of integration at Aberdeen Standard Investments.
