WisdomTree expands ETF range with double smart-beta launch

WisdomTree has launched two smart-beta vehicles; a Japanese small-cap ETF and a US multi-factor ETF.

With a net expense ratio of 0.48%, the WisdomTree Japan SmallCap Dividend UCITS ETF offers exposure to the domestic Japanese economy and is tilted to size and value factors. Stocks in the vehicle must have paid at least $5m in gross cash dividends on shares and have a market cap of over $100m while the 300 largest companies on the Tokyo Stock Exchange are automatically removed from the universe. Tracking the WisdomTree Japan SmallCap Dividend index, weightings are based on cash dividends paid and there is a 2% cap on any single constituent and a 25% cap on any sector. Christopher G...
