Worldwide Healthcare Trust adds OrbiMed founder to board following Isaly departure

The board of the £1.3bn Worldwide Healthcare trust has appointed manager Sven Borho as a non-executive director effective from 7 June, following the departure of former manager Sam Isaly.

Borho is a founder and managing partner of OrbiMed Capital, which manages the Worldwide Healthcare trust. He heads the public equity team and is responsible for OrbiMed's public equity and hedge funds. He has been a portfolio manager for the group's funds since 1993 and and after stayrting his career in 1991 when he joined OrbiMed's predecessor firm as a senior analyst covering European pharmaceutical firms and biotechnology companies worldwide.
