Schroders launches China A-shares fund

Schroders has launched a China A-shares fund investing in onshore China equities, taking advantage of the recent opening up of the market.

The Schroders ISF China A-Share fund invests in onshore China A-shares via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. This is a universe of over 3,500 stocks and has low correlation to other major equity markets.  The management team will particularly seek small and mid-cap stocks with a quality bias from sectors such as technology and healthcare.
