Janus Henderson appoints co-manager to work alongside John Bennett

Co-manager on European long-only mandates

Janus Henderson has hired USS Investment Management's Andrew McCarthy as co-manager of its European long-only funds.

Joining on 9 July, McCarthy will report to John Bennett, head of European Equities at Janus Henderson and manager of the Continental European and Pan-European long-only strategies.  At USS, where he spent 10 years, McCarthy was a portfolio manager specialising in the industrial and consumer sectors. Prior to that, he held a number of positions at Capital International Research and has a total of 19 years' experience within the industry.
