Legg Mason has appointed Regina Curry as chief diversity officer, as part of plans to boost its diversity initiative across the company.

Curry joins from McCormick & Company, where she worked as senior director of global diversity & inclusion. In this role she developed and implemented a multi-year global diversity and inclusion strategy, and established a firm-wide metrics framework to drive accountability. The hire is the latest move in Legg Mason's bid to enhance diversity and inclusion initiatives across the group.
