JPMAM to reduce charges on £1.2bn emerging markets fund

JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) is cutting the annual management charge (AMC) and introducing an operating expenses fee on its £1.2bn JPM Emerging Markets fund in order to "ensure pricing alignment" with similar funds in its range.

Effective 1 March, the changes will see the AMC on the fund's new ‘C' share class, which replaces the ‘I' share class, reduced by 25 basis points to 0.75%. However, the firm has introduced an operating expenses cost on the share class of 0.15%, meaning investors will save 10bps from the move.
