Downing boosts team with seven investment hires

Downing LLP has made seven appointments to its investment team, particularly focusing on the energy and property sector.

The three energy sector specialists are investment director Vaggelis Tsesmelidakis, technical asset manager Ana Knight and investment executive Amar Amin.  Downing soft-closes micro-cap OEIC at £30m They join from WHEB Infrastructure, PS Renewables and sustainable agriculture firm Sundrop Farms respectively. Downing has also recruited Jonathan Lloyd-Evans, Daniel Cheung and Michael Joseph as investment executives. Lloyd-Evans and Joseph both join from PwC and Cheung from Arma Partners.
