BlackRock's Devlin steps down as manager within European equity team

BlackRock's Vincent Devlin is relinquishing all portfolio management responsibilities within the firm's European equity team, including his role as co-portfolio manager on the BlackRock Greater Europe investment trust.

A stock exchange announcement said Devlin (pictured) is stepping back from his role on the trust, which will be taken over by co- portfolio managers Stefan Gries, who joined BlackRock's European equity team in 2008 and is now a senior director, and Sam Vecht, who has worked on the trust since 2004 and will retain primary responsibility.
