Asset Management One International, the London-based subsidiary of Tokyo firm Asset Management One, has launched a Japan Opportunities Portfolio fund in a UCITS format as it expands into the UK wholesale market.
The group, which was formerly known as DIAM International, is launching a number of funds under the Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS umbrella in order to broaden its distribution in EMEA regions. The group said while it has previously had a presence int the UK institutional market it is expanding its wholesale fund business using UCITS format. The Japan Opportunities Portfolio fund is a style-flexible multi-cap portfolio, which aims to outperform the market regardless of market environments.
