Global Prime Partners to launch wealth solutions platform

Follows launch of structured products division

Prime brokerage and trading services provider Global Prime Partners is to launch a wealth solutions service including portfolio management in the second half of 2017.

The firm said the platform will provide wealth managers with an integrated clearing, custody and portfolio management services. It is part of a wider initiative by Global Prime Partners, which has also unveiled its structured products division as previously announced in November last year. Ex-Nomura co-head of EMEA equities, Mike Ward joined the firm to head up the business development team and spearhead the launch of the structured products division, while Matt Robinson joined as head of structured product sales and Ross Trotman as head of structuring.
