LGIM plans to bring smart-beta strategies to retail space

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) is eyeing the possibility of expanding its smart-beta offering, which is currently only available to institutions, into the retail space.

The firm is one of the UK's largest providers of index funds, managing over £274bn in trackers.
