Edition Capital launches entertainment-focused EIS for retail market

An enterprise investment scheme (EIS) specialising in live entertainment and media has been launched today by Edition Capital.

The First Edition EIS offers investors access to a minimum of three pre-identified companies in the media, television and live entertainment sectors. The vehicle is seeking to raise £10m and is targeting a tax-free return of £2 for each £1 invested over a four- to six-year time horizon. It has a minimum investment of £10,000 and attracts up to 30% income tax relief on investments up to £1m.
