ETF Securities reports highest inflows since 2009

ETF Securities has reported its best year of inflows since 2009, with assets under management (AUM) increasing by nearly $6bn in 2016.

ETF Securities reported inflows of $800m from wealth managers in 2016, "a key target" for the firm and a sign more professional buyers are moving into exchange traded products (ETPs).    In the commodity space, the firm saw total net inflows of $4.2bn by the end of the year, bringing total commodity AUM to $17.6bn; the firm's total AUM at the end of December stood at $19.6bn.
