Broker Global Prime Partners hires trio for structured products drive

Including ex-Nomura EMEA equities co-head

Prime brokerage and trading services provider Global Prime Partners (GPP) has made three appointments, including ex-Nomura Mike Ward as its head of new business development, to spearhead the launch of a structured products division next year.

Ward will lead the development of the new division, initially for UK onshore clients, which will provide clients with streamlined access to structured products issuers with bespoke technology and a tailored customer service. Prior to joining GPP, Ward was co-head of EMEA equities at Nomura, and previously also worked as head of equity sales, EMEA at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Also joining the group are Matt Robinson as head of structured product sales and Ross Trotman as head of structuring.
