Ex-Old Mutual Wealth consultant launches boutique wealth manager

Financial adviser Lee Hurst has launched his own boutique wealth management firm in Yorkshire with intentions to expand rapidly in the future.

Harrogate Wealth Management will offer services such as financial planning, wealth management, tax planning and investment advice. Hurst (pictured with office manager Lynne Bowman) was previously a wealth manager at Marshall Zoing and a business consultant at Old Mutual Wealth (formerly Skandia) for 15 years. There is initially a team of three but Hurst has plans to grow "rapidly" by offering a niche service to rival larger national firms combined with the personal touch of a boutique.
