Kames promotes Bach to head of active value property

Follows third fund launch in August

Kames Capital has appointed Philip Bach as head of active value property after launching its third fund in the range earlier this year.

Bach (pictured) will report to Kames' property investment director David Wise and will work across the firm's two closed-ended vehicles and the open-ended fund. This includes the second version of the closed-ended UK Active Value Property unit trust, which was launched in August, as well as the first version of the trust and the open-ended Active Value Property fund. The active value range seeks to invest in high quality secondary commercial properties, especially those with a value between £5m-£15m.
