Columbia Threadneedle launches Pan-European Long/Short Equity fund

Columbia Threadneedle has unveiled a Pan- European Long/Short Equity fund to be co-managed by Paul Doyle and Fred Jeanmaire.

The Luxembourg-domiciled fund aims to generate a postive return irrespective of market conditions and is being launched in response to growing client demand for a fund able to take advantage of current European market volatility. It will target 6%-8% above its three-month EURIBOR benchmark over a market cycle of three to five years.
