OMGI creates MD commodities role to help build range

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has hired Diego Parrilla for the newly created role of managing director, commodities.

He is based in Singapore and reports to Paul Simpson, investment director at OMGI. Parrilla will initially be responsible for promoting and building the group's recently launched £60m Gold & Silver fund to institutional investors.
