Update: Stephen Peters exits Charles Stanley for Barclays Wealth

Stephen Peters, investment manager and co-head of collectives research at wealth manager Charles Stanley, is to leave the firm after almost ten years to join Barclays Wealth, Investment Week understands.

Peters (pictured) will depart next month and will join Barclays Wealth in October. He works as an investment manager and co-head of Charles Stanley's Collectives Portfolio Service and is also known to be a regular industry commentator. Prior to working at the wealth manager, Peters worked as an analyst at Hewitt Associates for five years. A spokesperson for Charles Stanley said: "We can confirm that Stephen Peters has decided to leave the business to pursue other business opportunities. Charles Stanley is grateful for his significant contribution to the firm over the past ten years...
