Prudential suspends six property funds as contagion spreads across sector

Prudential has suspended trading in six of its single-asset unit-linked property vehicles which invest in the suspended Aviva Investors and M&G property funds.

Prudential has temporarily suspended its Prudential Property Pension, Property (Ex Scot Am) Life, Property Life, Property Life, Aviva Property Trust Pension and Aviva Property Trust Life funds. These funds all invest solely in either the Aviva Investors Property Trust or the M&G Property Portfolio and its feeder fund, all of which were suspended earlier this week.
